Let's put Party City out of business

I love kids parties!

I despise the junk they bring home after each party.

This brewing aversion to kid junk stems from my path towards being more eco friendly, my commitment to home organization, and my goal for giving my kids more quality/ less quantity toys.

Having said that, let's put Party  City out of business! 

I challenge you to 'opt out' of goody bags by having a KIDS-WHITE-ELEPHANT-GOODY BAG-SWAP.  Grown ups love white elephant parties, so kids will probably love them too.  Kids each bring a white elephant goody bag to the party (along with a gift for the bday kid), and at the end of the party, each kid gets to select their own goody bag from the collection of gently used ones.  Try it!
