After signing up for this nifty program called GROUPON of course. A What? A GROUP-COUPON = GROUPON.
Each day you will receive an email offering a discount of 50% off a local business or service. Groupons are featured in several major cities - New York / Phoenix / Seattle / San Diego, etc. If enough people sign up online, then the coupon is honored.
Two weeks ago I received a 50% off bowling coupon for East Village Tavern and Bowl. What fun to discover a really cool bowling alley in the gas lamp that serves GREAT food.
Yesterday I received a groupon for 50% off a massage in PB. I didn't get to use it - but still - it was a great offer.

I'm getting the groupon emails too! I did buy the PB massage deal - 2 one hour massages for $45. Last week I bought a $15 groupon to San Diego Desserts for $5. Just have to be used within 6 months. Love bargains!
Most of the ads seem to be for the gaslamp, but I'm all about trying new areas. $5 for $15 of dessert sounds great!
