Shortcut Dinner (4 ingredient salmon)

By popular request :) .......
4 ingredient salmon! (salmon, soy sauce, maple syrup, black pepper)
(1) Marinate salmon in a mixture of half soy sauce, half maple syrup for two hours or more
(2) Position fish skin-side-down on a piece of tin foil on a baking sheet.  Completely cover the top side with fresh ground pepper
(3) Bake at 450 for about 8-12 minutes, or until the black pepper forms a crust
(4) Serve with rice and broccoli

tip: when I prepare this meal for my family, I omit the black pepper from one piece of fish because my kids think it is too spicy.  They also think bbq sauce is too spicy, so judge accordingly.
