Check out this two part plan:
1) Use this back of the door display (shown on top) for current artwork - this item only holds your kids most amazing pieces.
2) As new amazing pieces come home, add them to the display and transfer old pieces to the art portfolio (shown on bottom)
My kids would probably enjoy doing this themselves!
Take this concept to the next level for following the sage advice of Peter Walsh "Rather than keep the extra pieces, you can take a photograph of each one, upload the pieces to kodakgallery.com or snapfish.com and make a photobook. You don't need to keep the art to keep the memory!"
What else can you do with this inflow of art?
- Fold pieces in half, and use them as thank you cards (from your kids).
- Make paper snowflakes out of art pieces.
- Laminate cool pieces as use them as placemats.
- Fill up old frames with art work and display them in a kid space, like a bedroom or playroom.
